Is there a trick to wearing tall boots with jeans tucked in?

I’d say no real trick, but you do have a couple of options:

  1. If you know you won’t be taking them off, I’d suggest wearing capris; there isn’t any material to bunch around the ankle and makes them more comfortable.
  2.  A second option is a skinny jean or a legging that looks like a jean (jeggings). These seem to fit the best underneath a boot. The tight to the skin fit makes them easier to “tuck in.”
Unfortunately, you’re probably going to get some material bunching around the knee just from sitting/walking/stairs. But I find with capris, it’s easy enough to unzip and pull the material down. Also anything with a high percent of lycra/spandex is a good option so the give in the material helps to keep it from bunching.  Don’t sweat it, I was out with friends and I looked at people who wore boots and most had some material bunching at the knee.
