Wish List

It’s getting close to the holidays and the weather is getting colder. A friend commented that it can’t be winter until you buy boots and a sweater. Check – bought boots (Tahari black micro fiber tall boots) and a sweater (a soft pink and super cozy).

Okay, so winter can officially arrive for me and with that comes some great new fall/winter shoes. “Window shopping” on-line at Macys.com and I find these Isola Isabel Pumps in red. OMG!!! These are spectacular shoes. They offer a great contrast with the majority of the vamp in red suede and an animal print section that comes across the top of the foot. These will be great with pants and even better with skirts. At just over $100, they are a bit pricey and certainly over my $40 limit, but with a 20% coupon, I’m willing to splurge. Check them out for yourself ladies, and if red is not for you, they come in black with a cheetah print on the vamp; an equally stunning shoe but not as bold.

So to Macy’s I go with the intention of ordering these great pumps. When I get there, I spy these Michael Kors ankle boots. They screamed “Take me with you!” It’s the only pair they have. They were ordered on-line and returned to the store. The boots are a bit pricey, at $157, which is down from $225, but still up there for me. The cool color of these suede boots makes it an easy match for lots of fall outfits. Paired with skinny jeans and a bulky sweater, these will be great!

So having spied these fabulous boots, tried them on and wouldn’t you know – a perfect fit! But I really came to get the red shoes – so what do I do? I get the boots and put the red shoes back on my wish list. Maybe I’ll find these awesome shoes under the Christmas tree this year!
